This is kind of the "off" season for most breeders. All or almost all of the '09 babies have been sold, and the '10 babies are still being produced, so to speak, in that the snakes are currently being bred. Be patient, the new crop of babies should start making their appearance in another couple of months.

It seems to me around late April into May is when the new babies really start showing up everywhere. It seems like a long time, but if you are looking for a specific morph, it's not far away. The late spring and early summer reptile shows usually have an amazing selection of morphs for sale.

    Best wishes in your hunt.

Check out kingsnake.com and if you are unsure of a breeder's reputation check them out on the BOI on fauna. :gj:

There really isn't a "most" answer to this. Some people will purchase BPs right out of the egg, especially if they are friends with the breeder, so they know what is hatching. This is not recommended unless you have experience with starting new hatchlings. More typical is for breeders to start offering their hatchlings for sale after they have had several meals so they are well started. And of course there are times when adults and everything in between go to new homes as well.

If your in Canada I have tons of names for you and they all have ball pythons available, If your in the states there are tons of people on here that can direct you to breeders near you. Although most breeders do ship from State to State without a problem. It will just be cheaper if you find one closer to your area.
