Farting?

My normal female and my pastel male have been doing what sounds like farting recently. They act like they are wanting to go to the bathroom but nothing comes out except gas. They open their mouths when they do this too. The female hasn't done this in a few months now but the male has just started it. I bought them from a very reputable breeder and have never had any problems like this before. Has anyone else had this happen and if so what was the verdict. I am hoping not internal parasites but am dreading that it is. I have kept Ball Pythons for over 10 years and this is a first for me.

Just keep an eye on them since you said they're opening their mouth at the same time

There is an entire thread on this subject that is a humorous read. I'm not savy enough to post it here though. I'm just an old duffer.

I am thinking the mouth opening is just part of the pushing process. They are not weezing or anything like that. I just was suprised at the farting.

Yep! They sure do fart! The creepy part is sometimes your holding a snake thats crawling through your hands and you hear all these weird gurgling and bubbling noises as you push the fart down its body LOL!!

I love it when these threads come up. Snake-farts on this site is like Emeril going "BAM!".

I have yet to hear my BP fart, but I will say that seconds before I saw this thread, I cut the cheese myself. :D

2) I magine the mouth opening is that snakes version of "fart-face" You know, those funny faces we make when squeezing one out... :weirdface :fart: Or, like us, they are just laughing about it...
