    Wood safe for Viv?
    Hello,

I have a CRB incoming tomorrow and I'm setting up the viv today. I had some wood that I had cut recently and I have a piece that'd be perfect for him to climb on. It's from a Ornamental Cherry Tree. I'm just wondering if you all thought this would be a safe wood?

Also, what is a good way to sterilize it? I'm currently cooking it at 250F for about 1.5 hours....any other tips? Do I need to sand the bark off of it or just get rid of any sharp points?

I would sand down the particularly sharp areas. You have the right idea baking it. That should be enough to sterilize it :)
