Bult cage and need a little help.
Ok so i built a double cage for my iguana and bearded dragon, and my bd dragon decided me wanted to go arboreal on me and clime on the back of the cage which is pegboard. Anyway i didn't relize he could do that and he can reach the light bulbs.... Now how can i prevent him from reaching them and getting burn Thx. Here are sum pics.

Maybe try building a wire box and putting that around the lights.

I would cut a hole in the top and put screen over it and the light on top of the screen.
oo, never mind I looked at the pic again.
Can you hang the lights more toward the front?

Need the get the light closer to the ground and off the side of the cage where it's a POTENTIAL fire hazard.
It would appear that he wants/needs to get warmer than he's currently able to.

cver the bottom of the pegboard with a smooth piece of wood or plastic

he doesn't want to get warmer, his basking spot is like 100 degrees, he just wants to climb because he was climbing on the front of the cage before
