    The Husband Rescued one tonight...
The husband i believe is too addicted to snakes. He thinks that whenever he gets some extra cash he has to go out and get one.
So today he come home with a rescue. Evidently this poor thing was just kept in a glass aquarium with paper towels and that's it. No heat at all, no water bowl, and no hide. He looks to be about 2yrs old, but very very under weight. You can see his poor little spine. He has that triangle shape.
She was only feeding him 1 small mice a week.

So tonight we soaked him in the bath a little bit because i think he was very dehydrated. Then we got home a new home, with a nice little hide, water, and heat! He is in there chillen now. Hopefully he adapts well so i can bring him out for pictures!
It just upsets me that people don't study up on animals before they adopt them, they treat them like just a piece of trash ;'[

Congratulations on your rescue. It is sad to say a lot of people have no idea what they are doing when they get a snake.

Congrats! I'm so glad your man cares about them as much as you do (if not a little more, it seems:rolleyes:).

Definitely keep us posted on how the little guy fares. :gj:

Yes, I'm very glad you were able to save an animal from a life that it really doesn't deserve. Thank goodness you and you husband do what you do. =]

My guesses and knowing you live in NC, i could only imagine it was from Craigslist or something along those lines. I see so many people on there with snakes that SHOULD NOT be kept in their homes. So luckily, there are people like us that will rescue these animals from torture and give them the bestest of homes!

Good to hear that you now have him, and he's in good hands and will get the proper treatment he deserves! Poor thing. We have people bringing in their snakes they don't want anymore to my work, often they are severly under-weight and have burns on them from heat lamps. It's sad seeing that kind of thing.

Congrats on the rescue! As he recovers, post pictures!

this most likey peopel consider snakes and cats and dog all throw away pets. they get tired of them they toss them or give minium care until they die and they just don't care. I also think at some of these show people get them on an impluse and never bother to really try to learn much about them or their needs.
