    Oldest bps out there?
    Howdy, All knowing bp community

I always see these pictures of '08's or '09's etc etc, but I never see anyone say, oh, this is my '95.

I want to see pictures of the OLD snakes. :grandma:

Tell us their age, how long you have owned them, (or did own them), weight, and maybe a story; I'm sure those old ones have lots of good stories. Lets help people keep in mind the long term commitment needed for one of these beautiful snakes!

    Cheers

Isn't the record for a BP something like 48 years? I remember reading that at some point, and I think that snake was wild caught! (Obviously I could be misremembering it, but for some reason, that number sticks in my head.)

I have a male normal that is nine years old. I can't take any pictures of him right now because he is in shed and is a little agitated. I will try to get some of him once he has shed.

My oldest snake is Stick (male normal), I got him in 1999 and he was already at least two years old then, so he's...12 or 13 now! He was my first snake :D As you can see, he loves to crumple up his newspaper.

This girl is supposedly 24 years old this year. I've only had her for 5 years, but the person I received her from claimed she was 19 at the time. She's mostly blind due to ancient eyecaps and scars, but she's still healthy and produced a perfect clutch for me 3 years ago. She's one of my favorite snakes... a little flinchy, but very easy going.

My two oldest snakes are going to be 5 years old this year. One I bought as an 05 and the other I raised from a baby as my first bp :D

My oldest is 13, got him in '98 from a pet shop. I still need to take some more pictures of him after losing all of the old ones I had. He's got a lot of scars on him from a neighbor that claimed to be able to take care of snakes that left a live mouse in with him when I was gone on vacation a couple months after I got him. He healed up nicely though and has had no health issues since.
