    Shedding Question!?
My baby ball python just shed, and it came off in a complete piece, however there are these 3 patches of scales that look like the shed is still stuck on his back, but when u look at the shed skin itself those corresponding areas are solid, it looks like part of the skin from the shed is still stuck but not the entire old skin, like its just part of skin that was laft behind, like a thin layer that failed to peel off. It just looks slightly grey and shiny compared to his nice new color everywhere else, and in a few spots u can see the edge of that stuff peeling up, however I cannot seem to get it off even with warm water and gentle rubbing... Should I resort to a little mineral oil on a cutip or something? If i leave this stuff on will it damage his scales? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

O yea, one more thing I noticed, when he shed the skin off I noticed a little blood on his cloaca, I was kinda worried about this... When I looked closed I noticed the blood really wasnt from his rectum, but was actually from his anal spur on one side, maybe he tore the cuticle a little while shedding? The bleeding stopped almost immediately, should I worry about infection? To be safe I cleaned his substrate out and replaced it with fresh stuff and wiped down all his cage furniture before replacing it, wouldnt want my little guy to get sick... Has anyone else ever noticed blood from the cloaca region immediately after a shed?
