Can you name what is wrong with this picture?

Ya i am sure yalls jaw dropped just like mine did. I am trying my hardest to get these 2 poor snakes. She said she has had them in the same cage for 2yrs. I highly doubt that. Wouldn't you think they would eat each other or starve?
She has no hides for them, and no under tank heat pad just a heat lamp. The problem is, is that she just wont sell the snakes she said the set up has to go with them for $80. ;'[ I am not going to buy this ridiculous set up!

I can name a number of things wrong.

Be polite and don't give up, try your hardest to get these guys. Plus, they look no where to be 2 years old.. My female who isn't even two years old (turns 2 next month) is 4 feet and over 1100g so obviously they aren't 2 years.

Don't bet that they aren't 2 years old. My hubby and I rescued a little normal male from a bad situation.

He was 8 months old and barely 160 grams. I had 4 month old babies almost twice his size. They fed him one pinky mouse every 2 weeks.

Depending on the size of the tank, you might be able to flip it and get some of your money back. People on Craigslist are always looking for tanks it seems. Just a thought.

Keep us updated if you can get them.

while yes it is poor conditions for the snakes, only thing kinda bothering me is the 2 of them being in the same tank, i think your over reacting a little.

why would you assume they would eat each other or starve and why do you assume all ball pythons need hides, most of mine don't have any.

and all It would take to make that enclosure work would be something covering the screen and something to regulate the heat lamp.

It is rare to see caniblism with BP's especially since their size is about the same. But if they are 2 they are really underfed. I would bite the bullet and buy the tank as well. I mean...cmon....you can always use a tank for something else....

I would go ahead and buy it for 80 thats not too bad of a price. As others have said you can sell the set-up or keep it and use it for keep mice/rats if they refuse to eat. They look under fed if you ask me they have that triangular shape that comes with being fed too small prey or fed not as often as needed. Rescue those little guys:gj:
