I am looking at the zoomed 500r stat. I have 3 identical setups next to eachother. My question is as this stat handles 500 watts can i use a power strip and hook all 3 8-watt UTH's to one Thermostat? The Setups are identical so there "Should not" be much temp difference between the 3. Thanks in advance for the imput!!

The 500r is good for something cheap, but you have to realize it isn't as accurite as you would want it to be, especially if your going to use 3 different tanks with the same thermostat. Spend 30 more bucks and get a Ranco.

I agree... I am sick of my 500r and I have two tubs that are almost the same, but not quite. It is very frusterating.... Sooner or later you will upgrade so why not save that initial $30 and buy the next one up! :)
