Finally FED!!!

First off, I have to thank all of you for your great videos/pics/ and advice given over the past 1-2 weeks...

But I finally bought a some adult mice and got some used rat bedding (as they had started her on rat pups at Pro Exotics.

When I got home, I put some of the bedding around his tank and within less than a minute he was out smelling the lid of his viv, by far the fastest response I've ever gotten from him.

So, I got out the mouse, and before I could even sit it down, he struck and proceeded to swallow.... thanks again everyone, I'm so relieved... :D:D:D:D

But most people go from Mice to Rats because of size, why are you trying to go backwards?

Haha, not a bad question. But the answer is because what they were feeding were rat pups. The only "live" rats around here are juveniles/adults. Since those are too big, I went with an adult mouse.

Good choice, sometimes the only things you can get are adult mice or adult rats, so in a worst case scenario, its always better to feed multiple easy to eat mice than a way too large rat.
