Ever wonder how you get a python purse?
Re: Ever wonder how you get a python purse?
I watched the first video and I had enough...
Re: Ever wonder how you get a python purse?
Ugh, I'm going to spare myself the heartache and not watch those videos.. but I can imagine what they contain.
I personally would NEVER buy snake-skin anything, nor would I ever purchase any items made out of animal fur. Its completely unnecessary.
I won't even buy make-up that has been tested on animals... Also completely unnecessary.
Cruelty free FTW!

With that attitude, you might as well never use anything made out of leather..Which is a lot of things..Ranging from car seats to shoes.

The infamous Blood Python skinning videos.
Seen em before
So sad

I started to watch but had to stop. That is horrible. You can clearly see some of them still moving as they fill them with air. Its so sad that human beings, having the capacity to be so compassionate, could be so cruel. Just because they can't scream doesn't mean they are not in pain. :tears::tears:
Re: Ever wonder how you get a python purse?
What is common today just might be gone tommorrow, disturbing footage I've never seen before but knew it occurred..If something is farmed for a purpose we can understand that but these are more than likely not farmed..The manner in which their butchered shows ZERO compassion, like stepping on a bug..

Was this meant to be informative, or just a jab at my statements? :weirdface
I do avoid items made from animal skins (cows included) which thus far has not proved to be difficult.
Re: Ever wonder how you get a python purse?
The same could be said Tim about butchering cattle.
People in India would be horrified to see it happening.
It's just their way of life and how they make a living over there.
It hits home for us because we love these animals, so its definitely sad to see.
