Question about rack

I made a snake rack out of plywood and i want to make it so i can use tubs with no lids

What should i seal/treat the wood with?(so it will be mosture resistant.)

should i seal it at all?

How long do i need to let my plywood rack sit after i put a bunch of waterbased urethane coats on it so itll be waterproofed/safe?

Is there a specific brand of water based urethane that i should get that someone used before?

There should be instructions on the can of whatever you get... But if you already built the rack, you'll now have to disassemble it to get the whole thing covered. I'd just go buy some melamine lol.
