    Resting Females
I was just thinking about this. Last season, Akina, my normal female bred for me and laid 6 eggs. I'm breeding her again this season and from what I've palpated I'll get 4 eggs if she lays. Next season I'm going to let her have the season off and focus on breeding my morph female, the other two normals, and my corn female.

So how often do you let your females take a season off? Every other season? Two on, one off? Breed them every season?

it seems to me that as long as a female is back up to breeding weight, it would be okay to breed every season, but im sure some give their girls a rest sometimes, im not sure, this is my second season trying to breed, still no eggs, so im no expert, but i thought you deserved at least one reply. :D as long as they're up to weight and dont have a late clutch, i wouldnt see any reason not to breed them every year. but i hope if im wrong that someone more knowledgeable jumps in and corrects me. :D

Well my girl laid 6 eggs in early May last season and I began pairing her up as soon as she hit my goal breeding weight for her. I'm definitely going to give her next season off since I won't have space for that many clutches.

    Thanks for the reply!
