Is anyone even trying for snows anymore?
Just a random thought I had. I saw the cypress creek sold theirs for 2500 each when he dumped a ton of stuff on kingsnake, but havent seen anymore available. Just curious, I liked the cross, was hoping to get one this year.

I have seen DH lav snows for sale, but not looking for those

Once my Het Axanthics produce for me that is one of my goals as well as Axanthic Pied.

I just think that not many people care for the combo as much as some of the newer combinations. Plus double recessives are a pain, that 1 in 16 chance is slim. :(

My DH VPI snows are breeding right now. I will be taking pics of my snow from 09 soon. If my DH female is still breeding late in the season the snow may get a chance at her.

I dont know really.. The only "snow" like BP that I even like is the polar ball and its not even a snow. IMO it looks prettier and is easier to produce being recessive to co-dom.

All you can do is just keep looking. This summer there will be some Im sure. It seems like alot of breeding plans changed over the last couple years because there were so many new morphs and combos produced/discovered.

I'm not sure you can count me as trying, seeing as I'm not breeding anything yet, but I definitely intend to try!

I already own a male het albino phet VPI axanthic, and know someone who has some female het VPI axanthic phet albinos that I plan on buying one as soon as I can afford it. Then I'm going to cross everything crossable, and if I don't get both of them to prove out, I may end up taking the really long road, but I'll get there some day.

More than I expected, thats for sure! I thought everyone gave up on them since there were so many other "white" snakes out there

I have to say, I am shooting for them as a double recessive to plug into everything!!!

    Spiders, Pinstripes, Spinners, Womas, Clowns....

    Can you imagine Snow Clowns????

    WHEW!! :D

There are a lot of white snakes... but I really love the very delicate pale yellow pattern on them. I know to some people that makes them the worst white snake, "just an expensive faded albino", but I wonder how many of those people have held a snow in their hand.

Not that that means I won't want other white snakes too. I love ivories, even more than snows I think, and a pure white, blue-eyed snake sounds awfully nice too.

I agree 100%, if I had a breedable male snow, he would be WORN OUT by the end of the season! I would stick him with everything that would let him
