I was super stoked when i got home last night to find my male courting his girlfriend for the first time in about 3 full months. ( only one lock observed on november 8th and nothing since ) I couldnt help myself and had to watch if he would get lucky. I left the lights closed and grabbed a flashlight to spy on them. He was really working her sliding his tail back and forth on hers rubbing himself all over it was quite impressive. Finally when he got his tail to her tail he mustve tried for at least an hour to lift it and she wanted nothing to do with him. She would let him "flirt" but when it came time to lock she wouldnt lift her tail for him. Finally he got her tail up, and they were in a perfect lock, but if the female wasnt receptive to his "flirting" do you think she just didnt open her vent for him? They locked up at about 2 in the morning and when i woke up at 8 they were seperated and he was still courting her, rubbing her and trying to get her tail up. Do you think shes just not in the mood, or not ready ( 3rd winter 1400 grams empty )? Do you think if he keeps courting her like this everytime she'll eventually get in the mood? Has anyone had similar experiences?
