I got my snake about a month ago and fed him 2 weeks ago. I have yet to see any poop around the cage, i fed him a pretty big rat. Am i missing something?

    You are missing meals. ;)

You did not elaborate in size or/and age, but guessing by the "pretty big" rat, that is already an adult? The average BP is fed once a week. Please elaborate...

    Feed him once a week,
Sometimes it takes a couple weeks to poo, don't worry just feed him again.

Let me ask you this, Do you poop after every meal?

That is what I thought :giggle:

Ball pythons have a very slow metabolism. My snakes poop once a month or less. Do not wait for your snake to poop before feeding it again.

Do be sure you are keeping your humidifies up to 65-70. You can also soak in water that is just luke warm. I put my tub on a heating pad to keep it warm and soak for 30min - 1 hour generally. Be very careful to watch them. While it is nearly unheard of for a snake to drown, it has happened.
