tongue issue

I recently took in a 6-6.5 foot female burm that a guy didn't want anymore. Shes in pretty rough shape. Shes underweight, she has some scales that aren't laying flat and sticking up, She has a scar on her head apparently from another snake, and lastly I have yet to see her stick out her tongue. My biggest worry is the tongue, I want to get that taken care of so I can get her eating again. I have read somewhere that this can be a result of her tongue being folded over? Not sure though, I have been searching and asking local people if they have any information on it but I have come up empty. Is this something I can take care of or should I make a vet appointment?

I had a friend of mine help me with holding her so I could open up her mouth. No mouth rot, tongue looks good, not folded.

Any ideas on why she isn't flicking her tongue?

More info on her. About 6 1/2'Shes really underweight, 3315 grams, 7.31 lbs. She's got a lot of loose skin, I can't feel any food or poo inside her. She has mites. I sprayed her cage with pam and I'm trying to let her eat on her own. I think I will have to assist feed her though as she doesn't look a bit interested in live, p/k rats or even a large asf live or p/k

She is most likely dehydrated-get her something big enough to soak her whole body in and put it in her enclosure. I would let her settle for at least a week before offering her food-she has obviously been thru hell and needs time to adjust. Burms can get very stressed in poor conditions and it may take some time before she bounces back.

Shes got a 28 qt tub that she can fully submerge herself in. She has been drinking quite a bit since I marked the level on the tub when i put it in her enclosure. It will be 2 weeks since I got her this wednesday.
