What ratio do I use for mixing baby food and CGD?

Right now they are gettin 1 part CGD to 2 parts water. Do I just mix a lil baby food in with that? Thanks in advance

I'd recommend not adding baby food at all, CGD is just fine for them.

You usually only add baby food to it if a gecko is only used to eating baby food (to get them started eating cgd) and then you slowly wean it out of the mix.


Ratios I'd personally do:

1 part mix, 1 part water, 1 part baby food
or
1 part mix, 1 1/2 part water, 1/2 part baby food

I've been giving them the CGD but I'm not sure if they are eating it.. I do know that the one breeder I got my crestie from did say he was feeding it baby food. thanks for the info

It's very hard to tell if they are eating CGD. I used to put some on my finger and rub it on my Hatchling's nose and he'd start eating it that way. Now he eats fine on his own.

baby food is high in sugar I wouldn't use it at all but 1 part CGD 2 part water is fine try using one of there 2 part CGD.

CGD is all they need..No baby food.
CGD = complete diet for Crested Geckos- balanced nutrition

CGD gives them all the nutrition they need if u want to give them an occasional treat, u can give them bugs Dubia roaches or crickets.
or buy Rapashy fruit powder this is great for them too
