Basking bulb exploded, I think my ears popped and I feel light headed..?

I misted the Bearded Dragon enclosure because she is shedding. After I put the lid back on the basking bulb exploded (I think a drop of water could have possibly landed on the lamp or something) and it made this quick, loud pop and I think I might've popped my ear drums because my ears kind of have a weird feeling in them and I feel light headed. The lamp was smoking and I thought a fire was about to start, but luckily nothing happened. I unplugged the lamp and cleaned up the glass.

Has this ever happened to anyone, what the hell is wrong with me, and is it okay to reuse the lamp even though the bulb was the only thing that popped?

yea you will be fine and your lamp. just be sure to clean up the glass out of the cage very well or it could cause dammage.

I have had this happen once before too. Except the lamp flew into the window and broke it. I hope your ear will be ok though!

I apologize but this made me LoL! And ya the water was prob the culprit , Ive had this happen back in the when I used to keep panther chameleons.

Haha that's okay, I kind of smiled in a 'what the hell just happened' way when it happened.
And it scared the living hell out of me when I heard that pop, I jumped haha!:8:
