Dang, I never realized I posted that much about em'. And I probably have even more threads concerning them LOL:). I have an extremely hard time deciding between snakes. I like heavy bodied snakes, but I also like the long ones;). These are two snakes I've been wanting for a while, and they both seem like great snakes to have (of course I can't choose both of them which sucks.. only if I could..) but I just can't decide. I debate with myself a lot.. one day I'll be wanting a Borneo BADLY then the next day I'll be wanting a JCP BADLY:D. I just made this thread to see what people prefer and to hear their pros and cons, and this will most likely be the last thread I make on my mind-debate.

Quite a difference, couch potato versus marathon runner..
Borneos of course get our vote, love the fact that their not overly active and the mass they carry is just sheer impressive..

Re: JCP vs. Borneo
Votes are tied:O
Yeah, exactly. That's why it's so hard to choose. Borneos are a great interest to me because of their heavy bodies and interesting coloration and pattern.
JCPs interest me because they get to a pretty good length. Also to mention their head shape and coloration impress me greatly. Definitely a snake I would love to photograph all day long.
The only thing that gets me with these two species is they can be nippy. I guess I'm a wimp, but I also like to present my snakes to the public (soon I will be going to a 5th grade class to talk to them about reptiles) and I wouldn't want the snake biting someone.:weirdface

Re: JCP vs. Borneo
I think you would have more fun with a JCP, but nice Borneos are cool too, just alot more sensitive than a JCP.
