    Ovulation?
So, my pastel has been breeding my pewter since late December. In the words of Brad, she's been chewing hard, a small rat every 5 days since about Thanksgiving. Every time I've introduced the male, I've witnessed at least 1 copulation. This weekend I tried to feed on Friday and she refused. Then, Saturday we had a nice little low pressure front move through and I introduced my male, and she wasn't having any of that either. I just checked on here and saw this. I think it's an ovulation, but I'm not sure.

Here is a picture of her when her & the pastel first started breeding. So you can see how much lighter she is now.

What are y'alls thoughts on this?

1st pic I don't see anything, but 2nd pic I do. Not feeding is a good sign, good luck on your sterlings ^^

The 2nd pic was when I first checked her and that's what made me think she was going. Thanks for the good luck.

Second pic looks good to me. Just keep watching her over the next wek and see if you see any other signs. Good luck with the pair. That is a very nice pastel male BTW

Keep pairing up if she will accept it.

If not, you may be good to go.

Id keep an eye on her and see if you have a shed in the near future.

You may have just missed the bulk of the ovy

I'm gonna say no it's not, but, she looks close. This is just a guess though. Of course, your guess' will most likely be better than mine. A quick note, I haven't seen any of my females put such extreme bends in the area that the ovulation is taking place. They will normally put a bend right in front of the ovy and right behind it.

I didn't want to start another thread, so I'm jus going to bump this one.

I thought I caught an Ovy on Wednesday night, but wasn't 100% sure as it definitely wasn't the meat of it. I just palpated her and sure enough, there were 5 bumps the size of a small water balloon.

Now it's all up to the snake gods for all of them to be healthy eggs and for the odds gods to give me like 3.2 Sterlings:please::please::please::please:

Dylan, keep an eye on her they best way to tell is to just wait the 2 weeks out for the pre lay shed, then the FINAL countdown begins!!! Did you build your incubator yet? Can't wait to meet up again in 2 weeks!!!
