    Humid Hide with Coconut
I am having humidity issues in this Michigan winter. The indoor heating has been really making it a struggle for me. Now I am having shed issues. So, I have put together humid hides for everyone, but am using coconut (The kind that comes in a brick) wetted down instead of the sphagnum mulch. Do you think this will work OK? I am using aspen shavings, would use cypress mulch, but no one around here is selling it this time of year. I also have a tabletop humidifier running, but it really is not making an impact.

In my opinion CoCo fiber is better than the moss. I think it stays moist even longer.
