sad day yesterday

    sad day yesterday
    came home from my parents and my power was out to half the house including the reptiles they were all down to 44 degrees except my female boa and Savannah monitor all but the pastel ball and Nile monitor pulled out but i think some of them might have some nerve damage due to the cold do any of you guys think i ought to get them on a antibiotic or something just in case or just play is out and treat thing as they come

    They should not have nerve damage but could get upper respitory(a cold).I would keep a close eye on them and listen for any whistleing sounds or bubbles.How long was the electricity out?

    Hey I am sorry I can imagine how stressful your problem is. I don't actually have any advice at all I just don't know enough I just wanted to say that I hope things work out for you!

    How long were they cooled to that temp? You should be okay, but watch for telling signs of RI. I think you'll be okay as long as we're talking less than 24 hours.

    Save your money, visit the vet once signs start to show.

    im thinking it was less than 24 hours ive got them all at my grandmothers now in the same room her wood stove is in so they are all doing better and the twitchy movement is going away and they are just acting stressed
