need some breeding advice in terms of morph combos

Hi guys,

Here's what I'm planning on getting over the next year or so:

MALES
Spider
Pastel

FEMALES
Pastel
Pinstripe
Mojave

So a mix of dominants and codominants. A few questions:
1.) I know what I can statistically get with combining those males with the female pastel and pinstripe, but what will I get when I combine the male spider and male pastel with the female mojave? Also, what might I get with pinstripe/spider pairing?

2.) Assuming they're all ready to breed at the same time, what is the best way to organize cycling the males through the three females?

3.) And if I'm lucky enough to get eggs I guess that whatever hatches will tell me whether it was, say, the male spider's sperm that fertilized the eggs versus the male pastel's?? . . .

Spider x Pinstripe gonna give You Spinner... (spider coloration (white sides) with Pinstripe pattern) about Spider and Pastel to Mojave i need to check it out ;)

are you trying to double sire a clutch? or combine all 3 genes? a spider x mojave doesn't have a trade name, a pastel x mojave is called a pastave. All 3 genes would most likly be called a pastave spider.

a little FYI you can't get all 3 genes by double sire a clutch. each egg could only be from a spider/mojave pairing or pastel/mojave pairing, never all 3.

Everyone does things different, personally once I see a lock, I move him to the next one, after a few days, I let him rest then start over again. I see people do 3 days with a female, 3 days off alot on here. up to you

well if its a spider, then the spider did, if its a pastel, the pastel did, If their not, then no, you have no idea.

I got a question for you. why are you so set on breeding multiple males to a female?

Well, I'm not sure I'm set on breeding multiple males to a female, mostly I'm just interested in increasing my chances of getting eggs, wherever they may come from. Do you recommend not doing that?

Its not going to increase your chance of eggs, thats all on the female. I've herd it increases your chance of getting fertalize eggs.... but I don't see how unless you got a male shooting blanks. I think it just complicates things. no harm in doing it tho. but atleast you don't have to play Jerry Springer and figure out who the daddy is.

advise I will give you tho, If your just getting into this, buy your female first, give them time to grow up. they can breed after 2 years with good solid eating, but your realistically looking at 3. males can breed in half a year so no rush getting him. plus by the time your females are ready you might be looking at some double or triple gene males by then.:)

I would buy a male Bumble bee, Lemonblast female and a Mojave female.
