    Force feeding?
Contemplating force/assist feeding a 2 week hatchling... hasn't eaten yet, picked him up from the Ny expo.

Is it a risky thing and are there proper ways of doing it?:tears:

There are many things to try before force feeding.

So is his 2 weeks old and has never ate?

Can you describe your setup (enclosure size, substrate, temps etc)?

Now if your setup is not what I am about to recommend I encourage you to follow this.

Get a 6 quart tub, use aspen bedding, have a small hide (6 inches plastic flowerpot saucer) a water dish and leave your animal alone for a week (NO handling) once a week has passed offer a live hopper mouse.

    .......................

Depending on the health I would never consider assisting an hatchling that is not eating before he is at least 4 to 6 weeks.

Again many things to try before coming down to that.
