Do Female Pythons PMS?

This is really just a funny thread if anything else. I have 2 males and 1 female and I swear that my female PMS's/ get moody sometimes. She is normally all plz hold me and sweet but sometimes she gets pissy. For instance for a WHOLE day she would hiss at me when I went in to pick her up and then the other day when I had my girlfriend check my temps she struck at her. I found it funny but she didn't. haha

Sometimes they have bad days but since ball pythons do not menstruate, they cannot have PMS....

I know that. I ment it has do your female snakes get moody/nippy over your males. My girlfriend and I were just having a convo about it and thought it would be funny to post up and hear stories like mine or to see if female snakes are actually more moody then males. This is totally not supposed to be sexist or anything. Just looking for some laughs. And maybe to see which sex is more docile.

Too funny. I have not noticed anything with mine and I have 3 females. 2 are nothing but LOVE LOVE LOVE....the other one...(my butter) is a little witch...she only loves daddy. :rofl:

Nope, can't say any of my females get moody (unless you count feeding day).

I guess it's just mine. haha

Well, speaking in terms of breeding season, my oldest girl does get a little moody this time of year. She hisses every time I pick her up and just doesnt want to be bothered. It is kinda funny and although its really not PMS, it can be attributed to breeding hormones I guess. So yeah :rolleyes:

I always seem to find my males being testy, not my females.

So it seems the females are the overall nicer ones. And ugh if my female is already this moody I would hate to see her when she is at breeding weight and in season. LOL
