Different species in same rack?

Can I put different species on one rack? I was thinking of Kenyan Sand Boas and Ball Pythons? They would have to be at the same temperature as I'll only have one thermostat. Is that possible or are their heating requirements too different? What would be a good temperature for both of them?

i keep leopard geckos and ball pythons in the same rack. i've actually got a boa at the bottom so i have 3 species in one rack now.

As long as the heating requirements are the same (or within a few degrees) you can do it.

Its not about the rack, its about the temperature gradient and humidity needs of the animals :)

I have my borneos in one of my ball racks at the moment and they do not like high temps. I had to put them on the very bottom with a thicker amount of substrate to offset the temps. Now they have an ambient temp thats always cooler than the ball tubs. It just takes a little trial & error sometimes. Eventually they will be in larger cages with their own thermostat but for now I have it pretty comfortable for them.

Its possible but you need to remember that some of the boa species wont tolerate high temps for very long. Many of them also like higher humidity. You just need to keep a closer eye on things when you have more than one type in the same rack.
