Funny Kid Story

Ok so most of you know that I have a 9 year old son who is in third grade. We live in an area with LOTS of kids. So my son has a bunch of friends that hang out. Well long story short a couple of his 9 year old friends (boy and a girl) are now "boyfriend and girlfriend"...ugh! Well apparently these two friends were kissing. I learned ...from my son that there are different types of kissing. I thought I would enlighten you all.

There is regular kissing which is a peck on the lips
Then there is the French kissing which is kissing on the nose
Then there is the North American kissing which open mouth touching tongues (back in my day was French kissing....:weirdface ) I think the most priceless thing probably was my face as he was describing this...oye.

I thought this description was hilarious coming from my son. Thank god he thought it all was "disgusting" and "inappropriate". And informed me that he would not be dating until after college as "those girls" are out for his money and it could ruin him trying to get a college degree. (yes I clearly taught him well...lol)

The two friends....well apparently the boys Mother came out and drug him away by his hair. It is quite the third grade scandal of the year...lol

That is hilarious!! It's kinda scary how quickly those views change though.

I wonder where the term North American came from. I'm only 21, and I still thought that was french kissing! Although, I guess when I was in school it was more referred to as making out.

How funny though. Third grade... Gosh.

Doesn't surprise me. When my youngest sister was in 4th grade she had friends talking about wanting to have sex with their boyfriends. They were freaking 9-10! They don't even really know what sex is! It was horrible, I wanted to keep my sister from ever talking to them again...

My husband and I have been discussing if we should have "the talk" with him since when he hears the word sex he is like OMG...ewwwwwwwwwww. So I asked him one time....ok why are you freaking out, what do you think that means?

He said it is when you lay in bed with a girl and you guys kiss. I said...that is absolutely correct and you can get pregnant like that....lol. :O

Oye I am so not ready for my kid to grow up....:8: There are so many kids that are his age that know so much already. The girl next door which is 8 already told him what the Lady GaGa song "Disco Stick" was. :O Here I told him it was just a flashing pole....now he nows what it really is. EGADS...what happened to innocent little kids. :weirdface

That is just too cute! Kids grow up way to fast these days. I have two daughters, ages 15 and 13. I can't believe that they are this old already. It makes me feel so old, lol! I am 36 but I feel much older then that. My oldest daughter is like I am never having kids! She wants to go to college, which makes me very happy. I know that this could change on a whim. I think the best thing to do is to just be honest when they ask. Because, even if you tell them something else, they are going to find out in school and it will be ten times worse. I understand some things are too mature for an 8 year old, but my parents had always told be the truth when I asked and I grew up just fine. If they told me something I didnt match up with other storys id look it up on the internet or at school and WOW lol like I said they wished they would have just told me the first time around.
