    Who will win? Maybe both!
I've been pairing my normal female with my pastel the entire season. I put my spider male in with her earlier in the season but got no action. I decided that it wouldn't hurt to try again since I want both a female pastel and a female spider this season, it so it doesn't matter which one she breeds to. Well I just went upstairs and sure enough they are locked up. I've only seen "almost" locks from my pastel, but there have probably been some actual locks, but my spider is in a definite lock with her right now. I tried to get a picture but the lighting is really bad at nice since I only have one lamp in the whole room. I'm excited! We shall see if I get pastels or spiders from this pairing. I'm hoping for both!

    An almost lock from Thriller

Definite lock from Auxy (bad lighting but I can assure you it is a lock)

Looks like both are "good" locks! Congrats! Hope you get both Spiders and Pastels!

Thanks! :D The first one (Thriller with Akina) was not a lock. He was making his way there but wasn't quite locked up with her. I'm hopeful he did the deed once I left. I'm very hopeful for both spiders and pastels this season and it would be really neat if I got both in the same clutch. :)

You would be surprised we have had pairs lock like that and there was "pene action", we have carefully lifted tails and seen it on locks that dont look like "locks". I bet he got the job done. Good luck either way!:salute:

They are very cool and I've got my fingers crossed. It will be awesome if I get eggs from this girl and find both pastels and spiders in those eggies! :P I went upstairs to feed the bird and saw them through the tub. They have separated now. Should I remove him since the deed is done?

Sure, might as well give him a break for a couple of days.
