stress in the egg?

i hear wen a BP egg is stressed they get stripes down there back,new morphs, ringers, and even twins. this is some pretty compelling evidence , and mutch more, what do you think, has this ever happened to you?

How did you come up with the idea of an egg getting "stressed"?

What would you define "egg stress" as?

well there are allot of things,being moved, light changes,temp, being twins, kinks,bad shaped eggs, being put upside down , and anything els an egg can go thru that its not suposto but lives.

Do you have first hand experience with any of this?

Interesting concept....

FWIW...eggs don't come with directions that tell you which end should be up and which end should be down, just so you know. Chances are, if you do perform a search on this forum, and cant find anything....its because it hasnt happened yet. Use the search function before asking questions....everyone benefits from that.

Only thing I can add is that when an egg is laid, an air bubble is inside it that forms at the top of the egg.

When you move them to your incubation container, it should be placed inside the same way.

That's why you see an X or a number written on eggs sometimes.

i did do research thats how i found out about this concept, i did not say this was a fact. and what i ment by being upside down, as in going thru half the incubatchion on one side then rolling,being flipped over.

so were the hatchlings held above put through this test or are you assuming stress is why they came out wicked looking? if you did purposely put them through a stress test of sorts what conditions did you use.
i love the way they look and hopefully it wasn't stress but more of a genetic reason behind their looks.
