    Dash the miracle corn!
To make a long story short, this pretty 12 year-old gal was stuck in my dashboard for THREE WEEKS, after escaping on the drive home from Skiploder's house (he gave her to me). She finally emerged on Thursday, and seems to be recovering just fine - still nice & chubby, but she does have some indentations from being squished for weeks. Oh, and I changed her name from "Prongs" to "Dash" (short for dashboard), which seemed appropriate following her ordeal... it was either that or Honda, LOL.

Warm and happy, but starting to huff at me - "Do ya mind?? I'm resting!"

She pushed all the bedding around, to get closer to the heat... I've since bumped the temps up a notch.

Wow!! That's a massive snake! I bet she liked the dash being near the warm engine. Glad she's OK.

Jeez, Laura. Three weeks in the dash and she's still a sausage.

I've had her on a diet ever since I rescued her about 6 months ago - you should have seen her before she dropped a couple hundred grams.

Glad to see the old girl made it out.

LOL... she is a fatty! :D When I woke up today, she was clearly hunting for food - perched on top of her hide, flicking her tongue around the tub. So I gave her two live hoppers (all I had available), and she took them like they were candy. :gj:

I was thinking that the bright side in all this was that she would shed some weight. I'm wondering if she ate your AC system and CD changer while she was in there..............

My great plains rat did that and lived in my trunk and under my back seat. I found his sheddings a week after he came out and i found him on my car window that was open and he was tryin to wind surf down the highway. I figured he was already gone back to the wild.

She was even bigger when I got her...............she made the snake house lean to one side and her first two bowel movements were gravy.
