    Handsome new boy
Cassanova's been at my home for nearly a week. I'm beyond excited to have finally gotten a blood, and he was sweet as can be the first day home. (haven't handled him since taking these pictures, but hopefully after he first eats I can start handling him and he'll maintain his sweetness.)

very nice congrats on your new addition takes me back a bit seeing a wee fellow like that mine are big huge lumps now, crikey that came out all wrong :D

One of my favorite things about bloods is how they seem to follow you with that piercing gaze they have although they can be very skittish when young the sneaky look stays with them forever lol

It's going to be fun when he's a big huge lump. :P I just like fat-looking snakes, I guess. :giggle:

He wasn't skittish at all when I held him before buying him, or right after we got home. Hopefully he stays that way. :P A little skeptical on me, but he relaxed pretty quickly and started slowly moving around. I can't get over how pretty their eyes are, though. They have the prettiest little faces.

His sepia was a lot lighter then his 2 clutchmates, so I'm interested to see how he ages.

I really think blood pythons are even replacing my fondness for sand boas. :P (Who, while neat, don't seem to have a ton of personality.)

Jyson- Thanks! I was so excited. Took me about an hour to decide which one I wanted, it was awful. Good thing the breeder didn't get annoyed with me. :P

You're telling me. :P I'm trying to wait at least a year before getting another blood, but if the right black or albino comes along, can't say I won't cave on that. Bloods are fast becoming one of my favorites.
