My snake is picky with his moss

I keep moss bedding inside his hides, mostly for when he sheds but also because it allows me to make the hides more cramped for the snake as he has the ability to rearrange the moss to his liking. But I found that every time I change out the moss (about once a week or every time he poops or pees in his hide) he always packs the moss into a finely woven blanket. No matter how loosely I put it in there he works it in to a single moss brick. And if I put more then he likes he shoves the extra out of his hide.

lol thats funny, hey do ball pythons stop eating after shed? My bp eats every week but he just shedded & the next day i tried to feed him but he just wont eat. He was running from the mouse lol

Mine eats every week no matter what, he has never refused a meal, shed or no shed.
