    First Vet Trip
    Hello my Snake might hav e a respitory infection for I think I have seen mucus and hes been soaking and keeping his head vertical, and also not eating(which is really rare) so I have an apointment booked for tomorrow.
    I was just wondering what I should do to prepare my snake for the apointment and how should I transport him there,
    ANY HELP WOULD BE AWSOME

    Put him in a pillowcase, tie a knot in the top. Make sure he stays warm.

    If he's soaking it could possibly mean that his warm side is too hot, or he has mites.

    Just a thought.

    DONT walk out of there until the vet takes some swabs for a CULTURE and SENSITIVITY test.

    Well just he has his head straight up for long periods of time n his nostril n mouth is a lil crusty n his temp on his hot side is 86-92 what else could i do to keep him warm while in the pillow case

    Depending on where you are located and what the outside temps are, heat the car up first...
