    Behavior after shed?
I have a snake who just finished a shed yesterday, however I went to set up a new hide an add some additional plants to his tank and he was so sketchy. The slightest movement put him in almost a panic mode. Is this normal or is something going on? I haven't had this snake for long but before the shed he seemed pretty laid back. Should I have given him more time before making the additions?

What do you mean by "panic mode". All of my snakes freak out a little bit when I open their tubs and mess with them.

LOL sorry, I should've explained. What I meant by that is the slightest movement and he would flinch and tuck his head. I touch him and he tenses up which then obviously makes me tense which I'm sure he can feel but at one point, after I had said to myself that I was just going to let him sit, I tried to pick him up to place his rock in and he tried to take off up the side of the tank rather fast, almost like he was so scared he would do anything to run away.

That's prob what did it, sometimes they will react to the most subtle change in the enclosure.
