    Why is 33 inch flexwatt compared to 4 inch
    Why is 3inch flexwatt so much hotter than 4 inch. It seems the three reads so much hotter than the thermostat should be asking for

    3" just runs hotter, it's how it was made. If you're hooking multiple pieces of flexwatt up to a single thermostat, it's a good idea to use the same width.

    it has to do with how many watts per foot the flexwatt is the 3 inch is 6 or 10 watt per foot whyle the 4 inch is 20 watts per foot...has to do with the amount of wattage per square inch more watts in a square inch the more heat you will have...

    Correction 4" runs 8watts per foot. 11" runs 20watts per foot

    guess i read the wrong size...but thats why the 3 inch could be hotter if you have the 10 watt over the 8 watt 4 inch...more watts per inch
