Really big emergency! Please help!!

I have two ball pythons, an '07 female spider, and an '08 male mojave. They have been perfect and have been in perfect health their whole time with me and have not missed a meal every week. they ate about 3 days ago, and my female ate her normal size, but my male ate a size bigger because for 3 weeks he has had no bulge after a meal. This past feeding when he wrapped his rat he was able to eat it no problem and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Today since he has a bad shed I soaked him in warm water. I did notice some redness to his belly, but it was covered with his shed. and now i just took him out of the water after about 30min his shed is off and I found his belly super red and spotted with red, and it doesn't feel like scales but like skin. It could be the type of substrate your using or maybe it just needed to be cleaned... It almost looked like he had a allergic reaction to the substrate also make sure he is not sitting in his own urine or feces. Try soaking again and also make sure your tub is cleared of any products like bleach if you cleaned it or any type of cleaning supplies...

How warm was the water? Especially with those brownish bits, it looks like a burn, defiently not the natural tinge of pink they normally get before they shed.

it looks like blisters, or belly/scale rot, or even burns. if you are using shavings for a substrait change it to paper towels and make an appt with the vet asap.

what are the temps in your enclosure and what are you using to measure them with?

This looks bad, i recommend a vet visit.

Looks like a definate burn to me. Switch substrate to Paper Towels, apply a little Neosporin (pain-killer free), and call your Herp Vet.

Get to a vet asap. Unless it's a burn I would think fungal or bacterial infection.

Has the substrate been clean and dry? Do you have a UTH? Is it regulated with a thermostat?

That really doesn't look good. I would get that animal to a herp vet, like most everyone has said, if you didn't today, absolutely tomorrow or you may not have her much longer.
