How to vent tubs & set up gauges
How do most of you vent tubswhen you are keeping rosy boas or corns or kings in them? The rH is perfect for my BP with a set of holes on either side of the tub, but curious how many holes you all put in yours.

Also, I'd like to see a few setups showing how you set up temp and humidity gauges in your tubs.

I use oscillating fans to circulate air on the tubs and add or fill in holes as needed to maintain humidity levels. I'm using individual tubs but I imagine the principle would be the same for a rack...

As far as the gages, I just basically velcro'd the Accu-rites to the inside of the tub. There is a DIY stickie that shows how to modify AccuRites, if that is what you are using, so that all of the sensors are in the enclosure while keeping the unit outside. I'll see if I can find it...

All those mentioned need little humidity so an abundance of holes should be in place..I prefer a sodiering iron over drilling as it leaves no burrs..
DO NOT place holes too low in the tub,,:D, they will poop out the holes otherwise..Believe it...

I never thought of the ceiling fan. I tried that and it works great to lower the humidity. Thanks!
