Has anyone tried a organic kitty litter as a bedding? Would they just eat it and die? I was thinking if it's organic they wouldn't die and every few day you could stir it up. Anyone try this?

I know there are people who use Equine Fresh but I'm not a fan. I've never heard of anyone using organic kitty litter but it doesn't sound particularly appealing.

    My bedding preferences are:

Coco Soft (the best rodent bedding on earth)

    Shredded Aspen

Diamond Soft (this would be #2 is it wasn't for the cost)

This would be a horrible choice honestly. WAY too dusty. Rats don't like dust.... rat babies REALLY don't like dust.

Kiln dried pine is the ONLY way to go.
