    i wouldnt let the humidity go above 35 percent. they do need a large dish of water for drinking and do soak sometimes. keep day time temp around 80 to 95. i dont know what they need for basking temp but 110 to 120 should do. but check with some one who has one. some of this info came from a book called popular monitors and tegus.

    Temperature gradient from 75-85 degrees F, and 95 degrees F for basking. Keep humidity to a minimum.

    Don't know where you're getting your info, but humidity should be above 60%, basking of 130F+ and a lot of space.

    Thank you all, its my first monitor well my first lizard i have the temps correct but im not too sure about the humidity, there are next to no forums on the net and where i live its unheard of to have a sav monitor so there are no friendly resources.
