1/4" Polypropylene sheet for rack?
Hello,
I've been looking around for light weight, durable, heat resistant plastics to build my racks with and I was wondering if anybody has used polypropylene sheet for racks?
I was thinking about ordering 7 36" x 33.24" sheets. This would make 4 shelves that would hold 2 41qt sterilite tubs each.
Also polypropylene is extremely light. The only questions I've got are what would be the best bonding agent and does polypropylene have chemical issues.

Watch the off gasing of certain plastics. I don't have a clue as to which plastics would be dangerous, I just know some are very dangerous.
Good Luck!

I don't think you are going to find anything readily available that will adhere to polypropylene. Nothing sticks to that stuff. It's called poor man's

I am thinking thermal welding ( medium heat soldering gun ) and scoring would work best.
What are rino raxx made of? It's gotta be similar to polypropylene.
