male or female???

    male or female???
    2 years ago i bought a normal bp and was told it was a male but i thought male could only get 3-4 ft but hes 46-47in long. maybe a female or just a big male.

    How are you measuring? If you are measuring a shed, those can stretch quite a bit and be quite a bit bigger than the actual snake.

    In either case, I don't think it is impossible for males to get that big.

    The only way to tell for sure is pop or probe it. Poping is only for sure if you successfully pop a male otherwise it is inconclusive and you have to probe. On a snake that large I would probably just probe it anyway they can be popped but it much harder to do than a young male.

    Males can get just as big as females. Size doesn't guarantee that you have a male or female.
