    He finally ate!
    Akhenaton came home with me and his daddy on New Years Eve, and decided to be picky until last night. He wanted nothing to do with prekilled or the thawed out ones, so we got him a live one, and he pounded it!

    I was very very happy that he finally ate, its a good feeling. :giggle:

    Congrats. Even after having my snakes for 6 months, it's still a great feeling that they eat.

    Yeah it honestly is like nothing else to get a snake to eat its first meal for you. Or in my case we just got a Ball python in that it 54 grams!!!!! I just fed her tonight and she ate no problem, i would imagine it was probably only her second meal ever and shes skinny skinny!!
    Good luck in the future, i'm sure that after a while he will get used to live, then you can switch him back to frozen/thawed.
