Racj question, housing corns with others
No, not in the same tub, but in the same rack, maybe its a dumb question but will housing a king so close to other types of snakes drive him nuts? :taz:
Also, can anyone give me a hint as to the lighting requirements in a rack? Its in my office and gets natural sunlight, but of course the rack is covered on three sides so the tubs stay pretty dark. Is this an issue? Do they need more light?
PS I have a king, a corn, a BP and a rosy boa all in the same rack.
Re: Racj question, housing corns with others
if your temps are90-95 for bp, thats a bit to high for most colubrids, i keep mine around 85-max, the like it cooler, thoiugh the are more temp tolorant than most, not sure on boa, some carry disease that bp can die of, but as temps i dont know temps for rosey boas

My temps are in the 86-87 range. So far they seem to be happy and are eating OK. I've heard the Kings are voracious eaters so I was wondering if hed be dreaming all day about the taste of the corn just above him. :O

No they are not ALL snake eaters. Some will when presented one may attack it.
Dont worry about it at all since their in their own setups.
