    I have regained my sanity
Today, 1/13/09, I have officially produced my first clutch of eggs. My female who has been giving me grief was wrapped nice and tight around 6 beautiful white eggs. I swear I just bit the sun Im so high.

Yeah No kidding. BP eggs DO exist. I thought they were just a myth. The most surprising thing about the eggs is that theyre fairly heavy. Weird.

Don't breathe! 45 days till they hatch, don't disturb the process!

Good luck. I hope it works out for you the best it can.

    Thank you.

I have the patience for the hatching, Ill be ok on that part of it. It was waiting for the eggs and what not.

ADVICE for all: If youre gonna miss an ovy or think youre going to miss an ovy, learn to palp QUICK. One what you feel is bigger than an inch in length, youre gonna get eggs.

It took her 40 somethin days to lay her eggs.

Unfortunately you are going to lose your sanity once again, but only for 50-60 days, thats all. :D

Big congrats on the sweet clutch!:gj: What are you expecting from this clutch?

Just some nice mojos. I wanted to reproduce my mojo because he is so different from what I know mojos as. Other than that I dont like single gene codom x normal unless its selectively breeding for a certain pattern, i.e my reduced normal x lesser.

    The sire, Max.

    Congratulations, :D

Remember the thermos when camping out in front of the incubator.

How was she when you went to take her off the eggs?

Remember to wash her down well to get the smell of eggs off her so she will start eating again - one time I did the tub well enough but not the female and had to wash her down again before she went back to normal.

And have you candled the eggs yet?

LOL yeah thermos. I work nights so I should be thoroughly occupied to avoid that. She came off the eggs nice and easy, didnt even flinch. Freaked out when she was in the holder tub while I was puttin them in the egg tub though. Started cruising like a bat out of hell. I washed her and the tub based off of what Ive seen Ralph Davis do in his videos, juststuck her in the sink and sprayed and rubbed her down. I havent candled yet as I discovered them at 8 am, but Ill do it on Sunday night when I have a night off of work.
