My two babies, I have a question though

I never noticed this until having them sit side by side, but my younger one is obviously a different color than my adult. Both snakes came from people who didn't know much about them so I'm wondering if one isn't what I was told it was which is a standard ball. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

They both look like very nice normal ball pythons to me. They can vary a great deal in pattern and color.

I really like the pattern on both. Congrats on such great pickups!

Ok cool. Both were actually rescues which made me nervous being they were my first two, but I couldn't leave them in the conditions they were in and I know they are much happier now.

ditto to what Alice stated. They look awesome now....good on you for rescuing them. I would imagine that if you breed the lighter one to a pastel you would get some great looking pastels with bright colors. But that could just be me. I am still a little shaky on that stuff.

They are both normals. They can range very much from light to dark, reduced to very busy patterned. The awesomeness of normals :D
