I knew I wasnt imagining it! Giant snake

On a thread some time ago I mentioned seeing something on TV (animal planet or discovery) about this zoo with this huge retic. People were saying no snake was ever found that big. Well here is a video. I doubt it is as long as they say but they couldnt be more than a few feet off. Its right there in a zoo.

It was already remeasured at ~26 feet I believe.

Still big, but certainly a far stretch from the magical 30, and waaaaaaaay smaller than the claimed "49".

900 lbs is a tad more than it weighs.

I think the whole thing was hashed out on fauna. Try a search for giant snakes over there. There was a fair bit of info on it.

i thought that one measured out at 23 feet.

That is for sure one large snake!
