    Breeders and Poo...
Ok! Here's my weird question for the week. Have any of you breeders ever had a snake poo or pee on a potential customer at a show and what was the outcome? Also, in preparation for an upcoming show, do you adjust their feed schedules or skip a feeding to prevent this?

Funny you should mention that. I was at a show this past wekend and visited with a close friend, Rick Krumrine. When I got there, I noticed a few snakes had pooed. I asked Rick when he fed them, and he said he fed them a day late (Wed.). Between feeding late, bringing them out into the cold, then rewarming them at the show, these little guys (some not so small) were poo factories.

I personally have never had one of my snakes pee or poo on a customer, but I didn't sell at shows, so we didn't have too many chances for this to happen.

I'm sure Mr. Murphy is a visitor to most herp shows, so I'm sure it happens all the time.

I skip a feeding before a show, so they are going on 11-12 days or so with no food. Still happens occassionally, happened this weekend, customer asked "male or female?" We popped and here came the pee & poo!! Thought she was finished, handed to the customer and here she went again..lol. Still made the sale but donated a lot of paper towels and hand sanatiser!! :D
