    Pregnant Doe Question
I have a pregnant doe. She was a feeder but I quickly realized she was pregnant so I've decided to keep her as a breeder. She looks like she will pop at any moment but I'm starting to get worried about her. She has had feces stick to her bum twice. I've taken her into the bathroom and gotten it off with warm water and tissue both times. Both of those times I noticed red in her vagina. I was feeding and checking on everyone last night and before she had the feces problem the first time I checked her and no red. About 30 minutes later when she pooped and it got stuck to her, I cleaned it off and while I was cleaning I noticed the red. Could she be close to giving birth? I saw the red in her vagina around 1-2 am.

I just checked on her again. She is very lethargic. I fed off all the males so she is in there with just one other female mouse who is also pregnant. That mouse is not as far along and she is acting normally.

An update on the doe. We have an idea of what may be causing this. We think she may have gone into labor last night in the early morning and either the first baby is breech or got stuck somehow. We can easily feel the babies in her belly but we feel no movement from them. Her belly is slowly turning blue and she's getting cool to the touch. I think her labor stopped and the babies died and now she too is dying. I do not have the money to take her to the vet to be euthanized. So I have two options. I could cull her at home and then dissect her to find out what happened, or I could feed her to a snake.

Feed her and end her suffering.

I just checked on her and she might be trying to give birth, but she's having a hard time of it. She is bleeding from her vagina (enough to make me think she is trying to give birth) but she seems so tired. She may not have the strength to deliver them but we shall see. She is in the dark and we will leave her along. How long should I give her before I check her again?
