Curious About Too much and Too Low Temps.
i know i asked this in my last thread too but i really want to know all the effects of bad temps , so if people are kindly to list me:

bad effects of too much heat (Not exegaration , just for example like 100 -105F temp )

bad effects of too cold cool sign ( again not talking about -0 , but like 69 - 71F temp)

also i would be very happy to know if how these effects were found and proven with hopefully a link or something to made tests or scientific reports if available.

    Thanks Alot!

(P.S im talking about ball pythons of course not other snakes)

too high temps can cause brain and nurological damage i think. Spinning, burns, star gazing, seizures, death, etc.

too low temps can cause respiratory infections, lowered immune system, death, etc.

im assuming you mean ambient temps and not hot or cool side temps.

I am also curious but I'd like to know in terms of high belly heat (100-105), not ambient. Don't mean to hijack the thread, just curious as well!

for hot side temps, over 100 will most likely cause burns and blisters which can cause other issues like belly rot or sepsis, weakened health and immune system, etc. For short periods, let say a spike or something your snake will most likely be fine. But over a period of time things like the stuff mentioned above can happen.

Granted, i have no experience with burns or anything, i carefully monitor all my heating elements and temps so i have no actual experience with temps in "danger" zones.

Low temps can cause RI and other illnesses! High temps can cause burns and death!

Something I rarely see mentioned is too low temperature and they may not digest properly.
